Wrapped in the Finger of Grace
He faced death
so I didn’t have to,
and He was cursed along too,
so I should be called ‘a Blessing’
Grace did that thing.
when I was down He lifted me up,
He stooped low to where I was
just to tell “everything will be alright”
I am wrapped in the finger of Grace.
when no one understood me, He knew exactly
the battles I faced,
and He didn’t leave me stranded like the rest,
instead He walked with me in that valley of death.
sometimes even I cannot understand, the unconditional love
shown to me because I’m still undeserving,
but am thankful to Grace,
because He faced death, so I didn’t have to,
and He was cursed along too,
so that I might be called ‘a Blessing’.
