love is
everything.
from the cry of a new born baby
to a smile at the wedding.
love is
everything.
and the most real love
can be seen in companion with time
for everything else
works to destroy it.
the past
the character
the annoying things about the significant other
all the walls we build around our hearts
everything that screams “me, me!”
selfishness
has never been known to build anything.
but love is
everything.
and the most successful at it
are its students because
no matter their age they keep learning.
love is
everything.
from the good morning texts
to uncomfortable conversations
from the unromantic stares when we don’t understand each other
to the hugs we give, even reluctantly.
love is
everything.
from the initial feeling that started it
to the question you ask “how could I love such a thing!”
love is
everything.
every little anger that shows you care
every little smile that shows maybe your feelings are still there
every little memory together
every little wish
every little right we give up for the sake of another
every little compromise
every little space you create to accommodate the other
every little laughter
love is
everything.
